A little about out history first. We were formed in 2009 by Steve, who was frustrated at the lack of options we he himself went looking for help as he looked to start his family. 'Traditional Advice' was more directed towards Retirement Planning and Investment Advice, but no one was showing people how to plan for those big life events and clean up their finances now.

We've been through a couple different versions of ourselves over the last 10 years, but ultimately we exited Financial Advice and settled on what we love doing. That is helping our clients make smarter, more informed decisions with their money via education and coaching.

Our mentality is that you need to not just plan for the future, but create and maintain a great lifestyle now. We also believe this help should be available to everyone – not just the select few that can afford to pay thousands of dollars to access it.

I’m passionate about getting gen X and Yers off to a good start with their money. I founded Experience Wealth so I could provide a Lifestyle and Money Goal Planning process that was easy to understand, but at the same time sophisticated enough to help everyday Aussies with some of their big challenges (Buying their first home, starting a family, saving for their education, launching their own business etc).

The world is brimming with individuals and couples trying to dig themselves out of the paycheque to paycheque cycle.

I love helping to free people from being a slave to their next direct deposit and guiding them through a money framework that will set them up for a fun, gratifying future.

Outside of the office you’ll find me rumbling around the backyard with my 3 kids. From cuddles to tears to back to laughing in ten minutes – they remind me what’s truly important and are essentially what ‘wealth’ means to me.

My foray into banking and lending was by chance. A next-door neighbour growing up gave me my first opportunity into banking and lending by taking a punt on me to help out the local bank – an opportunity which I took by the horns and have run with for over a decade.

Over the past 10 years, experience in this sector allowed me to see how common place it was for people to get boxed into a cookie cutter mortgage which more often than not – benefited the lender and the broker, rather than you.

I figured there was no better way to try fix the problem than to be the change I wanted to see, and since then I’ve made it my mission to try beat the banks and lenders at their own game.

I really get a kick out of helping people look out for their own best interest by going into bat for them, then make sure we keep everyone as honest as possible. You should be off doing your own cool stuff, not having to worry about if you’re getting shafted by your lender.

When I’m not doing that, I’m enjoying being outside and getting off the grid. I enjoy spending time hiking, camping, and generally getting away from the big smoke!

Adriana Day

After working as a Financial Adviser for five years, I learned that the key to a successful financial plan is to align the way you spend your money with the vision you have for your life… but it’s not always as simple as it sounds.

As a Money Coach, I’m passionate about supporting clients in defining their goals and vision for their life, then designing and implementing a money management plan that will help them bring their vision into reality.

I’m also a big believer that money matters run far deeper than “the numbers” and that our relationship with money is a critical element on the path to wealth. In my time as a Financial Adviser, I found that even though the numbers stacked up, or it was the perfect plan on paper, that often clients struggled with the “action” part of the plan. I became super fascinated with understanding the psychology that surrounds money, and in 2019 completed training in behavioural money coaching so that I could better support clients with understanding their relationship with money and shifting some of their potentially challenging behaviours, beliefs and patterns around money.

I’m a book loving, personal growth junkie, that struggles to keep her many house plants alive. On an ideal weekend you’ll find me either hiking and chasing waterfalls, or down the beach with a book. I’m Gold Coast based so if you’re ever around, let’s grab a coffee!

Just like when Batman enlisted the help of Dick Grayson, Bret has taken on a side kick to fight the good fight against the established financial institutions. Nic Piscioneri has joined us in 2020 as an assistant mortgage coach with Bret.

Nic is currently studying a law degree at Monash University and hopes one day to fight for Australians by working in competition and consumer law. Until then, he’s utilising that passion for us at EW by helping you get the best deal you can. Nic has a genuine love for customer service; as a veteran of the hospitality industry he’s shaken cocktails at many bars in Melbourne and across the strait in his home town of Hobart. But don’t let his origin state put you off; think of it as two heads are better than one when it comes to working on your goals.

At home, Nic enjoys growing his tomatoes and mucking around on his sewing machine.
